A Generous & Secure Compensation Package

We believe in honoring the incredible commitment you are making, and that starts with a fair and transparent compensation package. The benefit amounts listed on our site are simply a starting point based on industry averages—they are not fixed offers. 

Your unique experience and personal needs are what matter most to us, and we want to assure you that every part of this package is negotiable. We will work with you to build a comprehensive compensation plan that you feel is right for you. 


All final amounts and benefits will be mutually agreed upon and finalized in your Gestational Carrier Agreement (GCA), which you will review in detail with your own independent attorney.

Base Compensation

This is the foundational fee that recognizes your invaluable time, commitment, and the amazing role you play. This compensation is paid to you in monthly installments upon heartbeat confirmation.

First Time Gestaional Carrier:

$55,000-$65,000

Experienced Gestational Carrier:

$65,000-$85,000

If Applicable Additional Compensation

Multiple Pregnancy (Twins):

$5,000 - $10,000

Caesarean Section (C-Section):

$2,500 - $5,000

Ectopic Pregnancy:

$1,000 surgical or $500 chemical

Termination or Reduction:

$1,000- $1,500

Loss of Ovary or Tube:

 $3,000 (per ovary or tube lost)

Loss of Uterus

 $15,000 full loss or $7,500 partial loss

Pregnancy and Wellness Allowances

These allowances are provided to ensure you are comfortable, supported, and can focus on your health and well-being throughout your pregnancy and post-partum.

Monthly Incidental Allowance:

$200 - $350 per month 

(To use on incidentals like vitamins, phone calls, local travel, or anything else you need)

Maternity Clothing Allowance:

$750 - $1,000 

(A one-time payment to help you purchase comfortable maternity wear)

Breast Milk Pumping (if you choose):

$200 - $350 per week 

(As additional compensation for your time and effort, if you choose to pump breast milk for the baby)

As-Needed Emotional Support:

$150 per session 

(One session per month of professional psychological counseling or support group)

Post Partum Support and Recovery:

$Varies

(Reimbursement for holistic, wellness and post-oartum care and recovery packages or stipends as stipulated in your GCA)

Housekeeping Stipend:

$100 bi-weekly

(Standard Support: starting at 34 weeks of pregnancy through the immediate postpartum period (4 weeks for vaginal delivery; 6 weeks for C-section). * Medical Necessity: In the event of Physician-Ordered Bed Rest, this benefit shall be activated immediately for the duration of the restriction.)

Milestone and Procedural Bonuses

You will receive additional, non-taxable payments to recognize the specific milestones of your journey.  These are paid at time milestone is met.

Medical Screening Bonus:

$1,000

Legal Clearance Bonus:

$500

Medication Bonus :

$1,500

(at the start of an injectable medication cycle

Mock Cycle:

$500 (at start of meds)

Embryo Transfer Bonus:

$1,000 (per transfer)

Cancelled Cycle Fee:

 $500-$750 

(Paid if a cycle is canceled through no fault of your own after you have started medications)

Invasive Procedure Fee:

 $500-$1000 per seperate procedure performed

(I.E. amniocentesis, cerclage, etc )

Your Journey Expenses, 100% Covered

This is our core promise to you: this journey will never be a financial burden. Your Intended Parents will cover 100% of all journey-related expenses, which are entirely separate from your compensation. You will never have to pay for:

Surrogacy Related Medical Expenses: (including co-pays)

Your Own Independent Attorney: (to review your GCA)

Health and Life Insurance Policies: Life insurance of $750,000-$1,000,000, and if needed a surrogacy friendly health insurance policy with 100% of premiums and deductibles paid for by parents

Lost Wages: reimbured at net lost wages incurred due to doctor-ordered bedrest, medical screenings, embryo transfer travel, and a standard postpartum recovery period of up to six (6) weeks for a vaginal delivery or eight (8) weeks for a C-section. Spouse lost wages reimbursed at net lost wages for a maximum of (5) days to attend each the embryo transfer and birth of the child

All Travel Expenses: for you and a travel companion for screening and transfer to include but not limited to airfare, hotel, airport parking, rental car if needed and $50 a day per diem. per person. 

Childcare: If needed $15–$25 per hour (or the local market rate) for anything related to precontract for all cycling and transfer appointments where you travel all day, doctor ordered bedrest, and delivery. 

Gas and Mileage:Reimbursable at the current IRS rate for all journey-related travel exceeding a 50-mile round trip. Travel under 50 miles is considered local and is covered by Surrogate’s Monthly Allowance.
